Members of the Police, while they were on a motorized patrol last night, stopped a car driven by a 24-year-old woman for inspection in an area of Nicosia.
A search of the car turned up about 26.5 grams of cannabis. The 24-year-old was arrested for a self-inflicted crime, while during the process of her arrest, she attacked (bit) a member of the Police.
During the incident, a 24-year-old friend of the 23-year-old approached the scene and tried to prevent the members of the Police from carrying out their duties. The 23-year-old attacked and threatened a member of the Police, as a result of which he was arrested for a self-inflicted crime.
