"40 arias" return - Yellow warning for tomorrow Friday

The Meteorological Department issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures on Friday. The warning is valid from one o'clock in the afternoon until 1700.

According to the warning, the maximum temperature in areas of the interior will be around 40 degrees Celsius.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. During the dawn hours, sparse fog and low clouds may form locally, mainly in the east and southeast. The winds will blow mainly westerly to northwesterly and later locally variable, weak, 3 Beaufort but temporarily locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little turbulent, except in the west where locally it will remain a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 23 degrees inland, around 24 on the coast and around 18 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly clear but later there will be temporarily increased clouds in the mountains. The winds will blow southwest to northwest and in the morning, in the south and east, to southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort to become moderate in the afternoon and locally to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 40 degrees inland, around 34 on the south, east and north coasts, around 31 on the west coast and around 30 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening, the weather will be mostly clear but in the mostly cloudy hours it is expected locally, mainly on the beaches, to form light fog and low clouds. Winds will initially blow southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort to later become northwest to northeast and locally variable, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will become calm to a little turbulent, on the south and east coasts but will remain a little turbulent, on the west and north coasts.

On Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear but in the noon and afternoon hours there will be locally increased clouds, which may give individual rain in the mountains. The temperature will not change significantly during the three days, to fluctuate slightly above the average climatic values.
