Fast food restaurants and catering centers are expected to be driven to new increases, since their suppliers have announced a price increase since March 24.
According to the General Secretary of PASIKA, Fano Leventis, "these increases are strange to us as someone who claims that the increases are due to the rise in fuel prices, must know that fuel has been declining for a long time, so they will the prices affected should automatically be reduced. But we don't see this because there is an exploitation of the climate that prevails in the global market and prices remain high and new increases continue to be added."
He mentioned for example that the egg used to cost 8 cents and now it will increase to 20 cents. Also, increases are reported in flour and bread.
