Horizontal road marking works on the Kofinou-Larnaka road

Horizontal road marking works will be carried out next week, on sections of the Kofinou Larnaca and Larnaca Kofinou motorways.

In a written announcement by the Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, it is stated that "in the period 16/9/2022 - 20/9/2022, between the hours of 07:00 - 15:00, every day except Saturdays and On Sunday, horizontal road marking works will be carried out on sections of the Kofinos - Larnaca highway, from the Kofinos exit to the Kalos Chorio roundabout".

During the execution of the works, one traffic lane in the direction of Kofinos - Larnaca will be closed for a distance of approximately three kilometers and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane using appropriate signage.

In addition, "in the period 12/9/2022 - 15/9/2022, between the hours of 07:00 - 15:00, horizontal road marking works will be carried out on sections of the Larnaca - Kofinos highway, from the Kalos Chorio roundabout to and the exit of Kofinos".

During the execution of the works, one traffic lane in the direction of Larnaca - Kofinos will be closed for a distance of approximately three kilometers and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane using appropriate signage.

The Department of Public Works "apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police".
