Pre-primary schools, kindergartens and nurseries will reopen as of today, while public and private primary and secondary schools will reopen on January 10, according to the decisions of the Council of Ministers.
All students, teachers and other staff upon their return on January 10, 2022, must submit a negative 48-hour rapid test. Children under 6 years old are excluded.
From January 10, 2022, elementary school students in private and public schools will have to take a rapid rapid test twice a week.
As announced, the mobile units of the Ministry of Health will continue to visit the schools to conduct the rapid test, for the better service of the students.
In secondary education, students must submit a negative 72-hour rapid test.
Students who have completed their vaccination program (two installments) or hold a 180-day sickness certificate are exempt from the above obligation.
