- A restriction is introduced in the area of the houses where it can no longer exceed 250 sq.m.,
Houses with swimming pools are not eligible for the project, and
- Simplified procedures are introduced to speed up the examination and approval time of applications.
Beneficiaries
With the new revised criteria, only persons who are proven to have sufficient resources to obtain housing and are therefore actually able to avail themselves of the financial assistance that will be given to them to obtain housing will now be able to apply.
Existing applications
Existing applications, ie applications submitted before 4 July 2019, which meet the new criteria, ie applicants have already purchased, erected or have sufficient resources and submit the required documents, will be upgraded and their applications will now be considered based on the new criteria where the amount of financial support is increased.
