Murder / Larnaca: Testimony of the shootings, pending autopsy

The results of the legal autopsy on the body of 53-year-old Andreas Evangelos are awaited by the Police, who fell dead from bullets that hit him on Tuesday night (28/12).

The autopsy is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with medical examiners Orthodox Orthodox and Angeliki Papetta.

The 53-year-old was waiting for the two perpetrators under the apartment building that lived in the Mackenzie area in Larnaca. As soon as he parked in the parking lot of the apartment building, the perpetrators opened fire, hitting him with a number of cartridges.

According to information, the residents of the area heard 5 shots, while the number of cartridges received by Andreas Evangelou remains unknown. The two perpetrators were riding a scooter and their movements were recorded in closed circuits.

It is a given that the murder of the 53-year-old was related to clearing accounts, however it is a complicated case due to the relationship of the victim with the murdered Mario Georgiou (Mariothkias), but also with his son who is a prosecution witness in a drug case.

However, the Police clarified that the victim had not been involved with the Authorities in the past, something that further complicates the case, while it is difficult to connect with either case. At the same time, there is a third possibility on the table, which is being investigated by the Police.
