Petra Romiou murder: The autopsy showed sexual abuse and strangulation

The Police are investigating a case of premeditated murder, regarding the death of the 28-year-old.

As can be seen from the findings of the autopsy, it is unknown whether the new femicide took place at the place where the body was found or elsewhere.

The findings of the post-mortem examination showed that the 28-year-old woman's death was the result of a criminal act and that is why the 30-year-old man with whom she was allegedly in a relationship was arrested.

As reported by the Police Spokesperson in Mesimeri and Kati, a fracture of the hyoid bone was detected, which is observed in cases of strangulation and not of a fall. Also, other findings were found that show that the young woman was also sexually abused before she was murdered.

The authorities are now investigating premeditated murder and it is possible that they will make new arrests.
