Electricity supply to household consumers will not be interrupted due to debt during the festive season
With dedication to its social offer and sensitivity to the needs of the holiday season - as mentioned in a relevant announcement of the organization - the Cyprus Electricity Authority decided this year not to interrupt, due to debt, the supply of electricity to its home customers customers.
The decision is valid for the period from December 20, 2017 to January 17, 2018 and concerns all household prices, ie prices 01, 02 and 08.
Household consumers who have been cut off from electricity due to debt can apply for a reconnection at any EAC Customer Service Center. The application will be examined according to the possibility of the customer joining a repayment plan. It is noted that the favorable reconnection decision does not include those who have been accused of illegal electricity theft.
Electricity is a vital commodity. It is the responsibility of the EAC for its uninterrupted supply and quality, with respect to the consumer.
