President's Time - Testifies about naturalizations

Today, the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, testifies before the Research Committee on the exceptional naturalization of foreign investors and businessmen.

The process will take place at the "Filoxenia" Conference Center, where the Committee meets, and will start at 10 in the morning.

President Anastasiadis had stated last week that he gives the opportunity to be asked questions by the independent Research Committee, so that there is a complete, through the questions that will be submitted, a list of the real facts.

Last week, Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus testified before the Commission.

Until now, the Minister of Finance Konstantinos Petridis and the Minister of Interior Nikos Nouris have submitted to the committee. Also the former Ministers of Finance Haris Georgiadis, Michalis Sarris and Charilaos Stavrakis, as well as the former Ministers of Interior Socrates Hasikos and Eleni Mavrou.

Other technocrats and officials involved or knowledgeable also testified.
