A 44-year-old man who is considered a suspect for drug administration to his 11-year-old son was detained for four days.
According to information, yesterday at noon an Officer of the Welfare Office visited the home of the 44-year-old in a village in the province of Limassol.
The officer saw the 11-year-old in a semi-voluntary state, and immediately notified both the Police and the ambulance to take him to the hospital.
Traces of cocaine and cannabis were found in the feces of the 11-year-old.
During interrogation, the detainee denied that he had given drugs to his son.
The suspect was brought before the Limassol District Court, which issued an order for his four-day detention.
Police investigations continue.
