E-mobility: The application period for the Grant Scheme has ended

Last Thursday, the period for registering applications for the Sponsorship Scheme to promote E-Mobility in Cyprus ended.

In today's announcement, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Road Transport states that in relation to sponsorship categories E5 to E15 if more than the prescribed number of applications are submitted, a lottery will be held, which for transparency purposes will be carried out electronically, using an application designed to conduct a fair draw, on live broadcast.

The draw will be held on 17/3/2023 at 09:30, while it will be broadcast on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

Besides, it states that the lottery will include all the applications that have been registered up to the above day and time, except for those that were automatically canceled during the registration stage.

As noted by the Ministry of Transport, the validity of the applications registered in all sponsorship categories will be examined by the Evaluation Committee in its session after the completion of the lottery.

In addition, it states that applicants whose application will be classified as applications for approval will be informed of the preliminary approval they have received.

The applicant becomes a beneficiary of the Plan from the date of the preliminary approval letter.

Based on the above paragraph, applicants are requested to wait for the preliminary approval letter, before proceeding with any action.
