According to the Pancyprian Confederation of Parents of Secondary Education, the decision of the Ministry of Education to conduct rapid tests on all students who return to school next Monday is moving in the right direction.
In a statement, the Pancyprian Confederation of Parents of Secondary Education states that its position "was and is like every possible action by the State to return all students to schools, under safe conditions, without endangering their own health, health of their teachers but also of their relatives ".
The Confederation urges students, "although the test is not mandatory, to understand that continuing their physical education depends on the spread of the virus."
"The conduct of the tests will allow them to continue their education for life in the school units safely, thus allowing the best possible preparation for the Pancyprian Examinations", he adds.
The Pancyprian Confederation of Parents of Secondary Education also calls on parents to urge their children to take the test, adding that "worldwide restoration of normalcy depends on limiting the spread of the virus."
"With a little effort we hope that little by little not only the seniors will return to school, but also all the other students," he says.
"The collective goal of all of us, through the assumption of individual responsibility, is the continuation of the school year without other restrictions, with all children in their schools where through better learning conditions their physical and mental health will be promoted", he concludes .
