Occupied: Opposition speaks of Turkish interventions and "early elections"

Kıbrıs writes that the president of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), Tufan Erhurman, said before the "elections" that some people were going to the villages and saying that Turkey did not want the CTP and that they would establish better relations with Turkey. Speaking after a meeting of the "parliamentary group" and the central council of his party, Erhurman added the following:

"Those who did that were those who knew how to intervene in their own congress and interfere in the presidential election. At the point we have now reached, the intervention process was repeated. The intervention was open. So open that Foreign Minister Thaksin's Ertugruloglu told UBP President Faiz Suzuoglu that "Turkey does not want to work with you." This was written in the press and so far no one has denied it. Therefore, the intervention was officially recorded ".

Erhurman said that the solution to all this is the will of the Turkish Cypriot "people" and added that in this crisis they would not want to engage in "elections", but the Turkish Cypriot "people" have an obligation to leave without no intervention of his own free will from this chaos that was created.

He noted that it's too early to say whether they will come out of this mess with a "government for early elections" and added that if they are to oppose the interventions, they must oppose the interventions everywhere.

Pointing out that the dimensions of the interventions are growing every day, Erhurman said that when you say that "Turkey loves me more" you are preparing the ground for the interventions and in the end you accept the interventions.

Speaking on television, People's Party (HR) leader Kutret Ozersay said it was clear that a game was being played, that a "government model" led by the UBP, whose internal divisions were endless, was producing constant instability. that a "government" of broad social consensus should be formed by all parties that will not be led by the UBP and will lead the "country" to "early elections".

He noted that everyone, including the electorate, must take a hard look at the situation and that it is inevitable that politics will move away from the "axioms-interest" axis and that relations with Turkey will be properly established.

Recalling that in the past the "artificial government" was formed under Ersan Saner with the support of three "deputies" who were forced to resign from the HP, Ozersay noted that those who had previously handed over their party keys, those who instead of receiving his own decisions seek support from elsewhere, today they are in the position of "he found me what I did".
