Occupied: British tourist lost her life in a hotel fire

A 71-year-old British woman lost her life in a fire that broke out this morning in a hotel in occupied Lapithos, according to the online version of "Kypris Postasi", which also publishes the name of the victim.

"Prime Minister" Ersin Tatar also visited the area, who said in statements that according to the first investigations, it seems that the fire broke out in the room where the victim was staying with her husband, who was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

He also said that more information about the incident will be given after the completion of the investigations, avoiding to respond to rumors that the fire broke out after an argument between the couple.
