Stolen property, the Police located in the possession of a man

A 31-year-old man was arrested by the Limassol Police last night. He was found in possession of property, which is estimated to be stolen.

He was arrested when members of the TAE went to an apartment building in Limassol last night, after a complaint that a person was staying illegally in an apartment. The 31-year-old man was in the apartment, who was found to be the tenant of the premises. During the examination, a search was conducted, with his written consent, during which various power tools, mobile phones, bicycles, 44 cartridges, as well as various other items were found.

The man did not give sufficient explanations for the origin of the property found in his apartment, as a result of which he was arrested for a self-inflicted crime of illegal possession of property and illegal possession of explosives.
Investigators believe the property was stolen, so the detainee was taken into custody to facilitate police investigations.
