According to the Pancyprian Committee of Professional Beach Lifeguards, the little girl and two other children were left unattended by their parents. A lifeguard in the adjacent lifeguard tower LEM6 noticed in time that the little girl started to sink and with his immediate intervention he avoided the impending drowning.

The little girl was given first aid while the parents were advised to visit a medical center immediately after they refused to call an ambulance.

On the occasion of this new incident, a committee recommends to all parents to pay full attention to the accompanying minors.
