The abduction case is being investigated by the Police of the British Bases in Limassol. Specifically, the case concerns a 32-year-old man who allegedly forcibly put his mother in the car and transported her to a secluded place near the area where they live. In fact, he allegedly injured her, fortunately, slightly.
The woman managed to escape and go to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The case was reported to the Police and the 32-year-old, after being arrested, was taken to a psychiatric hospital after a relevant decree was issued for compulsory treatment.
The 32-year-old is said to be a drug user.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (3/11).
