Cyprus: He fell from a rooftop to avoid the Police

A young man from India who fell from a six-meter roof in order to avoid the Police is critically hospitalized.

According to the Police, on Tuesday afternoon, a compatriot approached members of the Cycling Police in Limassol and reported the young man, who was in an adjacent premises, for malicious damage to his vehicle. When the members of the Cycling Police went to the premises, the young man had left the spot.

A little later, the Police received information about a young man who fell from a height of 6 meters in a shop light. When the Police rushed to the spot, it was found that it was the young man they were looking for.

The 21-year-old was transported by ambulance to the Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have fractures in various parts of his body, as well as head injuries.

Due to the criticality of his health condition, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where he is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
