A 37-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of car theft and causing malicious damage, committed in Paphos.
According to a Representative of the Paphos Police Directorate, it was reported on 8.1.22 by a woman owner of a vehicle, that an unknown person allegedly smashed the glass of the passenger door in our vehicle and snatched from it, her women's bag, which among other things contained the money amount of 2.300 euros in cash.
Following a relevant testimony that emerged against a specific person and in the context of further investigations, members of the Paphos Police Directorate issued an arrest warrant against a 37-year-old man.
The 37-year-old was arrested today 12.1.22 at 00:50 and was taken into custody at the Paphos police station.
The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police.
