Police in Paphos arrested three people yesterday to facilitate the investigation into an investigated case of illegal possession of property and offensive instruments and stabbings.
Specifically, according to an announcement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, around 6.20 p.m. Yesterday Monday, members of the Police stopped for control a car, which was moving on a street of Paphos. The driver of the vehicle was found to be a 27-year-old resident of Paphos, while the vehicle was carrying two other persons, aged 19, also residents of Paphos.
During a search of the vehicle, four knives and a folding bat were found and confiscated. A set of keys, a car key, as well as an electric skateboard were also found, for which they did not give clear explanations as to how they were found in their possession. At the same time, in the possession of the 27-year-old, three bank checks were identified, for various amounts of money.
Arrest warrants were issued against the above persons, under which they were arrested and detained.
The Paphos Minor Offenses Department is investigating the case.
