Ninety people were placed in detention after 16 cases were identified at a secondary school in Limassol, according to a source in the Ministry of Health.
According to the same source, the school is operating normally and the chain of cases was located last week.
The location was preceded by an educational trip of the students.
After the trip, it became clear that there was a transmission of the coronavirus with the result that 6 teachers and 10 students were positive.
