A low barometric "express" will affect Cyprus today, with the Meteorological Department having issued a yellow warning for rain, storms and strong winds.
According to the forecast, snowfall is expected from time to time.
As the Director of the Department Kleanthis Nikolaidis states in a post on Twitter, "the very short passage of the recession will give us rains, storms and snowfall, gradually over 600 meters".
That is, as he notes, snowfalls are expected over the imaginary line of Kapedon, Xyliatou, Saitta, Malia, Kampos, Pyrgos, Limassol and Lysos.
