The Paphos Police are investigating a case of stabbing a 29-year-old man, while a 33-year-old man is wanted for the case.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations Michalis Nikolaou, on 27.4.24 around 23:20 p.m. an injured person went to Polis Chrysochous Hospital with injuries to his right armpit.
Subsequently, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, the injured person was immediately transported by ambulance to the Paphos Hospital, where he was detained, after receiving treatment for his injuries.
As it was established, he was a 29-year-old resident of the village of Argakas. As he reported to the Police, on 27.4.24 around 21:30 in the evening following an argument he had with his roommate, aged 33, he was attacked with a knife resulting in an injury to his right armpit.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 33-year-old and he is wanted. The complainant was discharged on Sunday afternoon, however he was arrested because further tests revealed that he was illegally residing in the territory of the Republic.
