The implementation of the Test to Stay measure in schools started today, however, with differences in Primary Education where specific schools will function as checkpoints for children who are close contacts.

As stated by the Communication Advisor of the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Athanassiou, speaking on the SIGMA show "Mesimeri kai Kati", regarding the differentiation in Primary Education, an attempt was made to entertain the concerns that the Teachers had in the supervision of their children and their care. during the morning when they would undergo a rapid test.

As he mentioned, officials of the Ministry of Health tried to solve the issues that arise for the convenience of children, teachers and parents.

Today, as he said, the school units that will function as control points for close contacts will be announced.

He explained that some primary schools will be staffed with mobile units and parents will transport their children who are in close contact there, so that they can undergo a rapid test and if they are negative, return to their school.

These units will be open from 07:00 until 08:30.

"There are reports of problems in the trafficking of parents," he noted, stressing that it is something that the Ministry is examining.

Explaining, he said that there are several complaints that such a thing will make the work of the parents difficult until they go to work.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandela, will have extraordinary meetings with educational organizations today.
