After the rains back to summer – The weather in the next few days

Isolated rains and possibly an isolated storm mainly in the mountainous and southeastern regions are expected today as the Meteorological Officer Michalis Mouskos reported on the SIGMA show "Mesimeri ka Kati".

As he noted, the intensity of the phenomena will not be the same as yesterday when problems were created by falling trees.

In the next few days the scene changes completely, as clear weather and rising temperatures are expected.

Specifically, the temperature will be two degrees above normal for the season.

Asked to comment on whether we know how intense the weather phenomena will be in the coming months, Mr. Muskos noted that we do not know, however, the picture that exists in general with climate change is that extreme weather phenomena and their frequency are increasing.

What we know from the seasonal forecast through the end of October, he said, is that the rainfall expected through the end of October will be disappointing.
