They turned a cafe into a "gambling club"

The Police found ten persons indulging in gambling in Paphos, as part of a coordinated operation to crack down on electronic gambling.

According to the Press Spokesperson of the Paphos ADE and head of the Paphos TAE, Michalis Nikolaou, on December 27, between the hours of 17:30 and 18:30 members of the Paphos Crime Prevention Ulama, with the help of other members of the Paphos ADE, raided a coffee shop , where they found a total of ten people indulging in dice at two separate tables, five people at each table.

104 playing cards were seized from each table, as well as 61 cards and the sum of 515 euros.

All those involved were charged in writing with the intention of being summoned later.
