In the last period of time they have been received by citizens, regarding phone calls they receive in which a person who speaks the Greek language tells them that he wants to transfer some amount of money to them.
He then sends them a message that includes an electronic link (link) with copies of a bank logo, which they are asked to follow in order to verify their bank details in order for the perpetrator to intercept them and then withdraw money from their account.
The public is urged to be especially careful not to give out any personal or bank details over the phone or put their bank details on pages that impersonate credit institutions.
