A newborn just 28 days old is being treated for coronavirus at Makareio Hospital.
According to the Director of the Pediatric Clinic of Makareio Hospital, Abraham Elias, this is a little girl who was admitted yesterday with a fever and was diagnosed positive for the virus.
Due to his age, his hospitalization was deemed appropriate.
All children under two months are a special group and we prefer to be hospitalized, he noted.
He noted that the newborn is in good general condition while another child is being treated.
