A 9-year-old girl who was bitten by a viper in Paphos is being treated at the Pediatrics of Makarios Hospital.
Speaking to SigmaLive, the Director of the Pediatric Department of Makareio Hospital, Dr. Abraham Elias, said that the viper was in the window of the house when the family cat attacked the viper and then threw it at the child, biting it in the hand.
The little girl was taken to the Intensive Care Unit and then transported to the Children's Clinic of the hospital. Her health condition is considered out of danger.
As for my 6-year-old boy who is also being treated in the hospital for a viper bite, he is expected to be discharged soon.
