The owners of the leisure centers are giving their own fight to set up their businesses after their reopening, according to the president of the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Center Owners (OSIKA) Neophyto Thrasyvoulou.
In his statements to KYPE, Mr. Thrasyvoulou stated that after the opening of the interior of the month from the 1st of the month, the efforts are focused on attracting local tourism, especially during the three days of the flood. Our goal, he said, is to give a "first breath" to businesses. The hope, he continued, of leisure center owners is to attract tourism in an effort to get the economy up and running. He also pointed out that business problems remain on the table.
Regarding the reopening of the nightclubs, from June 10, he said that there are some problems related to the way they are supported by the State. He also justified the request of the owners of the nightclubs for more state support since, as he explained, the state supported only the 30 weeks of the year, ie 50% of the time frame that remained closed.
