The Senate of the University of Cyprus on Wednesday reaffirmed its decision, dated July 7, 2021, to conduct teaching during the winter semester 2021-2022 with physical presence and the presentation of the European digital certificate COVID "Safe Pass", in compliance with all decrees and protocols approved by the State.
According to a statement issued after the Senate meeting, the Senate reaffirmed its decision taking into account the epidemiological picture and scientific views of academics specializing in pandemic disease management. COVID-19, noting that in the event that the facilities / classrooms do not allow the course to be conducted with physical presence for all students, then the course will be conducted simultaneously with physical presence and remotely through modern technology.
It is also emphasized that in the course that will be conducted for life, priority will be given to students who have a vaccination certificate or have become ill with COVID-19.
Finally, it is mentioned that detailed information and instructions on how to conduct the courses during the winter semester 2021-2022 at the University of Cyprus will be sent by the Study and Student Welfare Service to all members of the student community.
