The Paphos Police is investigating a case of harassment, harassing surveillance, causing psychological violence and threats against a 33-year-old.

According to the Press Representative of the Paphos ADE and Head of the Paphos TAE Michalis Nikolaou on 26.3.23 at 6:15 a.m. was reported to the Police by a 38-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus, that on 24.3.23 a 33-year-old person, also a permanent resident of Cyprus with with whom they had a relationship in the past and broke up, harasses her, watches her, sends her various messages, calls her constantly annoyingly and in some cases he has threatened her.

Besides, according to the claims of the 38-year-old, on the same day on 24.3.23, he seems to have followed her with his vehicle on the road from Paphos to Limassol and, passing her, motioned for her to stop.

Meanwhile, the Paphos District Court, for another case that the 38-year-old had also reported, has issued a court order prohibiting the 33-year-old from approaching the complainant.

Therefore, said Mr. Nikolaou, the 33-year-old disobeyed the legal order of the Court. An arrest warrant has been issued against him and he is wanted.
