With the main goal of acquaintance of the Greek offered product and the presentation of empirical-experiential products in the Cypriot market the Office of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT) of Cyprus continues the digital tourist meetings of Greece-Cyprus.
According to a press release, in the new cycle of the 3rd and 4th webinar presentation, the EOT Cyprus Officepresented specific Regions of Greece to the tourism professionals (tour operator, travel agent) of Cyprus. Specifically, through two separate webinars, the Destination North Aegean and Thessaly with Epirus were presented. In the 3rd digital meeting that took place on 12-10-21, the islands of the North Aegean were presented by Angeliki Polytaki, Head of the Tourism Department of the North Aegean Region, Vasiliki Rodopoulou, Head of the Department. Of Tourism of Lesvos, Maria Kova, Head of Tm. Of Tourism of Chios and Grammatiki Drini, Head of Tm. Tourism of Samos.
In the discussion that followed, Elena Tanou - Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Travel Agents Association (ACTA) and Vice President of Top Kinisis Travel participated with thoughts and suggestions.
In the 4th digital meeting that took place on 17-11-21, Thessaly and Epirus were presented by representatives of the destinations and specifically by Giannis Boutinas, Authorized Tourism Consultant of the Region of Thessaly and Ioulia Markoula, Director of Tourism of the Region of Epirus and was given emphasis on promoting the destinations offered for Autumn and Winter getaways.
The Cyprus side participated in the presentation Loukas Larkou, General Manager of Xenos Travel who presented the product portfolio in the specific markets while they also discussed cooperation opportunities for new products. The participants in the seminars have the opportunity to get to know unique and different experiences, offered for the whole year from the Greek destinations. Respectively, the representatives of the Regions in the best way and professionalism presented every new tourist product offered and useful information for the professionals of Cyprus. The two digital meetings were organized and coordinated by the Head of the EOT Cyprus Office, Petros Saganas. The next Digital Tourism Meetings of Greece-Cyprus will take place on November 25 for the tourist promotion and presentation of Thessaloniki and the destinations of Central Macedonia.
