PDS: An important step is the vote of NS for Commercial Court and Maritime Court

An important step forward in the intended reform of the judiciary is the vote, yesterday Thursday, May 12, by the Plenary Session of the Parliament of the bills for the establishment of a Commercial Court and a Maritime Court, the Pancyprian Bar Association reports.

In an announcement, the Association states that as a key partner of the reform it expresses its satisfaction and thanks to the Ministry of Justice and Public Order, the Supreme Court, especially to the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, Nikos Tornaritis, as well as to B have contributed crucially and effectively to the achievement of this goal.

It added that the Pancyprian Bar Association "following the modernizing orientation will continue to make every effort to pass the three Bills of judicial reform and implement the necessary cuts to improve the efficiency of justice."
