The Police arrested five people today, in the context of investigating a case concerning conspiracy to commit a felony, illegal possession and possession of drugs for the purpose of supply, illegal stay in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus and money laundering.
Specifically, members of the Limassol Police Department, at dawn today, stopped a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man with a 21-year-old passenger, in an area of Limassol. In a subsequent investigation, a quantity of heroin weighing approximately 21 grams and a small quantity of methamphetamine were found in the possession of the 33-year-old. Also, it was established that both of them reside illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus and were arrested for an unprovoked crime.
