He went to the post office to pick up drugs – How he got busted

As part of investigating a case of illegal importation and possession of drugs, the Police arrested two people yesterday.

They are men aged 42 and 41, who were taken into custody to facilitate investigations.

After the arrest of the above persons, information emerged about the arrival of a package at a post office in Nicosia, which contained a quantity of cannabis, weighing approximately 800 grams.

Yesterday the 41-year-old went to the post office to receive the package, as a result of which he was arrested for an unprovoked crime.

As part of the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against the 42-year-old, who was arrested yesterday afternoon on the basis of a court warrant.
