Fake fan cards detected in the GSP – "The control method will change"

Fake fan cards were detected at the GSP stadium. The General Director of the GSP, Foivos Konstantinidis, speaking to Mesimeri and Kati, said that from the controls carried out at the stadium, it was found that fan cards were falsified. They found a way to rig the system and create trouble."

He added that fan cards are now issued exclusively by the CMO, which ensures a much higher level of reliability of the system.

He added that with the implementation of the fan card, they decreased due to the absence of organized fans. "The fan card was established and established, while the problems we had before the implementation of the measure began with the return of the organized ones."

Mr. Konstantinidis clarified that the goal is to improve the fan card. "The law was made with everyone's input. The provisions of the law must be applied by all its bodies".

He added that the stadiums have many flaws and lack systems that should be implemented for the fan card to work properly. "Three stadiums have these systems."

Finally, he said that the Authorities are trying to introduce procedures and control methods, with offenders finding ways to cheat the law. "In GSP, the way of control will change. We will increase the sample checks on horseshoes and we will also ask for identification."
