The Paphos Police are looking for a second person after the arrest of a 61-year-old man for the case of housebreaking, theft and theft.
According to the Press Representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, on July 28, a 48-year-old reported that his residence had been broken into and various silverware, collections of old banknotes, coins and similar items, with a total value of 23.200 euros, had been stolen. The residence was entered after breaking the aluminum window.
Subsequently, on Sunday 31.7.22 at 10:30 in the morning, following information, members of the Paphos police department went to the bazaar in the area of Timi where they found a 61-year-old hawker, who had exposed old items for sale. Of the items in his possession, several of them were identified as part of the property stolen from the 48-year-old's residence.
The 61-year-old was arrested for illegal possession of property and taken into custody. When questioned, he named a 40-year-old resident of Cyprus as the person who supplied them. An arrest warrant was issued against the 40-year-old and he is wanted for the crime of burglary. The examinations for the case continue by the TAE Paphos.
