Last week at the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus (AXIK) the Training Program for Young Diplomas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held on "Etiquette and Gastronomic Protocol of Social-Gastronomic Events" in the framework of the cooperation of AXIK with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
An announcement states that the program was attended by young diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who will take up duties abroad. The purpose of the program was to develop the necessary knowledge and skills of the participants to successfully respond to socio-gastronomic events to which they are invited to represent the Republic of Cyprus or to organize a corresponding hosting on its part, within the framework of their duties.
The program included a theoretical part that covered topics related to Etiquette / Protocol during social - gastronomic events and the Diplomacy of Gastronomy, while it followed an experiential workshop at the AXIK Educational Restaurant with a simulation of Christmas and New Year.
