Announcement of vacancies for recruitment in the Police

According to notification number 5449/737 published in the Official Gazette of the Republic dated 19/07/2022, vacancies in the Cyprus Police have been advertised for filling.

Applications can only be submitted online, through the Government Online Security Portal (Ariadni) (www.ariadni.gov.cy) in the "CYPRUS POLICE" thematic section, until Friday, 26/08/2022 at 14.00.

To proceed with completing the online application, the applicant must be a registered user in ARIADNI. The identification of the applicants at a Citizen Service Center or KE.PO Central Post Office is necessary. Further identification of the profile can also be done through "ARIADNI" from the "Profile Management" and "Identification with banking system (Internet Banking)" option.

During the application process, all relevant certificates should be scanned and submitted. Applications that are submitted late will be automatically rejected by the system.

It is noted that candidates who have already passed previous written examinations for the position of Police, the results of which were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic, in the last two (2) years, from the date of publication, will also have the right to participate in this recruitment process of this announcement, regardless of whether they have reached the age of thirty-five (35). The results of these examinations concern the notices numbered 5247/1054 and 5313/866, which have been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on 23/10/2020 and 23/06/2021, respectively.

It is understood that in such a case, candidates will have to re-submit an application and pay the amount of €45. It is also understood that said candidates have the right not to sit for the written exams related to this recruitment process, but will be submitted to all the remaining evaluation tests. In case they choose to participate in the written examinations of this recruitment process, their success in previous examinations, within the previous two years, will cease to be valid.

In the event that a candidate participated in both of the aforementioned recruitment procedures (5247/1054 and 5313/866), the highest score achieved in the written exams will be taken into account.

After submitting their application, candidates who have secured their success in the written exams, but wish to re-sit the written exams of this procedure, should inform the Cyprus Police Recruitment Office in writing at the email address policeacademy.recruit@gmail.com

Candidates who have reached the age of thirty-five (35) and are entitled to participate in this recruitment process, should submit their applications in paper form, to the Cyprus Police Academy, to the Recruitment Office (tel. 22-808236 / 22808483 / 22808247 ), within the time frame. Paper applications can be printed from the website of the Cyprus Police www.police.gov.cy, in the "Forms and Applications" field. It is understood that paper applications will ONLY be accepted for candidates who meet the above criteria.
