Pseudocrat: Forty years today since his illegal declaration

Forty years have passed today since the day of the illegal declaration of the pseudo-state when Turkey and the then Turkish Cypriot leadership declared the occupied territories of the Republic of Cyprus a "state".

Through a series of resolutions of the UN Security Council, the international community condemned this action and characterized the declaration as legally invalid. The pseudo-state is only recognized by Turkey.
Characteristic are the resolutions 541 and 550 of the United Nations Security Council where the SA "condemns the attempt to secede part of the Republic of Cyprus, considers this action legally invalid and requests its revocation".

At the same time, it calls on all states not to recognize it and to respect the independence, territorial integrity and unity of the Republic of Cyprus.

At 7:00 p.m. the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulidis will attend and greet the event "Memories of Occupied Land" organized by the Committee of Occupied Municipalities of Cyprus and the Committee of Occupied Communities at the Cultural Institute "Archangelos" of the Holy Monastery of Kykkos, in Nicosia .

Also, parties, municipalities, refugee associations will organize anti-occupation events.

On the contrary, it was announced in the occupied territories that warships of the Turkish Navy Command will be in the ports of Kyrenia and Famagusta as part of the "celebrations" of the 40th anniversary. The frigate TCG Giresun (F-491), the submarine TCG Burakreis (S-359) and the TCG Bartin Corvette (F-504), which are among the combat elements of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, will be based in pseudo-state ports and the public will be able to visit them.
