Following yesterday's decisions of the Council of Ministers, and based on the Decree, dated 23 April 2021, the Ministry of Health reminds that, with effect from 26 April, the percentage of employees in the private, public and wider public sector, which is subject to testing rapid antigen detection on a weekly basis, increases to 50% of people working in the physical presence.
It is clarified that in companies / services, where the number of employees employed with physical presence does not exceed five (5) people, Testing is mandatory for all individuals.
It is understood that employers have the responsibility for the implementation of the provision of the Decree and must ensure the compliance of their employees with the obligation for weekly inspection.
It is reminded that the following categories of employees excluded the obligation to perform a rapid antigen test:
