The all-Cypriot public service hotline 1450, for matters of social insurance and welfare benefits, has been put into operation from today.
The call center is staffed by twenty employees of a contracting private company, who will have access to the computerized systems of the Department of Social Insurance.
Direct answers will only be given to specific questions which will be categorized, while specialized questions will be sent for consideration to the relevant departments.
