Cyprus will pay its last respects today to the undefeated National Guard Officer Xanthos Kyriakou, who lost his life on duty. The Officer attempted to shoot down during a planned exercise in the area of Trooditissa.
The funeral procession will be performed from the Holy Temple of Agios Kosmas of Etolos, in Agios Athanasios, Limassol at 13.00.
The funeral will be attended by the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief and the Minister of Defense who canceled his visit to the informal Council of the Ministry of Defense in Lisbon in order to attend the funeral of the undefeated Officer.
The family will not accept condolences while a request is made instead of wreaths to make contributions to the Anti-Leukemic Association ZOI.
