Members of the Traffic Headquarters were immediately mobilized this morning, in response to a serious incident to help transport a small child to the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia, where he required immediate medical assistance.
As stated in a statement by the Police, the call for help was made after 9 am today, when a family with their small child was traveling in their private vehicle, via the Limassol-Nicosia highway, to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia.
At some point due to the condition of the little child, the family asked for the help of the Police to escort him to the Hospital.
The members of the Police immediately responded and located the family's car at the Alhambra exit and escorted it, taking all the necessary actions, to arrive as quickly and safely as possible at Makarios Hospital.
At the entrance to Nicosia, the family's car, police motorcyclists were also waiting, who made sure that the car had an uninterrupted and uninterrupted route to the Hospital, thus gaining useful and valuable time.
The child arrived safely at the Makarios Hospital, where he was received by the medical staff for treatment.
