In the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Wednesday until 06.00 today), the Cypriot Police carried out 1.609 inspections throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the observance of the measures and the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, during the inspections, 12 complaints of citizens and 3 complaints of premises emerged.
With regard to provincial controls, in Nicosia 477 inspections were carried out, with 6 complaints of citizens and 3 premises, in Limassol 143 inspections were carried out, without any complaint, in Larnaca 323 inspections were carried out, with 4 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 93 inspections were carried out, with one citizen complaint, in Famagusta 277 inspections were carried out, with a citizen complaint in the area as well Morphou 131 inspections were carried out without any complaints.
Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 159 inspections and the Coast Guard carried out 6 inspections without any complaints.
