The foundations for the new "presidential palace" will be laid on July 20th, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar said in an interview with Genç TV.
According to the GTP in the review of the Turkish Cypriot press, Yeni Duzen writes that Mr. Tatar stated that the facilities will include a building for the "parliament". He added that it is not right to talk about a tower or a palace (küliye) because it is a complex, saying that the issue will be finalized during his meeting (today) with the Turkish Vice President, Fuat Oktay.
Ersin Tatar also said that he had invited Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to the occupied territories on July 20, but that this has not been finalized yet.
