A 15-year prison sentence was imposed today by the Permanent Criminal Court, which sat in Paphos, against a 42-year-old man, who was found guilty in a case of illegal import and possession of drugs, with the purpose of supplying to another person and money laundering.
The 42-year-old was arrested by members of YKAN (Paphos Provincial Police) at noon on July 17, 2022, after his arrival at Paphos airport. In his luggage, 28 nylon packages containing cannabis, with a net total weight of 27 kg and 885 grams, were found and confiscated, after a relevant check.
