Paphos Police are investigating a case of threat, reckless acts and reckless dangerous driving against a 35-year-old man who was arrested yesterday and detained to facilitate the investigations.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos, Michalis Ioannou, a resident of the village of Polis Chrysochous complained that a 35-year-old fellow villager threatened him and with his vehicle in which he was riding he allegedly hit the complainant's car, while it was moving on the road.
Members of the Polis Chrysochous police station received the complaint in writing from the complainant and issued an arrest warrant against the 35-year-old. The offenses of threatening, reckless acts and reckless and dangerous driving are being investigated against him.
Last night at 21:00, the 35-year-old was arrested, his military rifle and ammunition were confiscated, he was interrogated in writing and after being charged, he was released to be summoned to court later.
